How to Calculate the Cost of Repetitive Admin

Time per task, frequency, people, hourly cost. Annualise it, then think in three years.
Small recurring tasks are easy to ignore because each occurrence feels cheap. The trick is to annualise them. Fifteen minutes each working day is 65 hours a year; one hour a day is 260 hours; two hours a week is 104 hours.
The multi-person example
If three office employees each lose 30 minutes per working day, that is 1.5 hours a day and about 390 hours a year. At an illustrative £15 an hour that is £5,850; at £20 it is £7,800.
Then think in three years
Five hours a week is about 780 hours over three years: £11,700 at £15, £15,600 at £20. Do not promise to eliminate the entire cost. Sell the amount of human involvement that can realistically be removed, and use the business's own hourly figure.
