FAQ
Straight answers to the questions and objections we hear on almost every first call.
Cannot find your question? Show us the process instead. Technical questions can come later.
Do I need to replace my existing software?
Usually not. Many projects connect or automate around existing systems. Our work often begins where existing software stops: the manual steps between systems.
Can you automate spreadsheets?
Often, yes. Repetitive Excel and CSV processing is a strong automation candidate when the steps are predictable. Keep Excel for the work it is good at; we automate the repetitive work around it.
It only takes 20 minutes.
How often? Twenty minutes every working day is approximately 87 hours a year. The frequency matters more than how small the task feels once.
I can do it myself.
The question is not whether you can do the task. It is whether repeating it hundreds of times is the best use of your time.
We've always done it this way.
Manual workarounds often survive long after the technical limitations that created them. A review may find that your systems can now exchange data more directly.
Does everything need to be in the cloud?
No. Some workflows process data locally on your own computer. Cloud services are used where the feature benefits from them: licensing, configuration, monitoring, updates or web access.
Will it work without internet?
It depends on the workflow. Suitable local tasks may continue locally; cloud-dependent features require connectivity. We are specific about which is which rather than promising 'works offline' for everything.
What happens when something fails?
Important automations include logging, validation and clear failure and exception handling. Automation should fail safely and tell you, rather than silently.
How much will it save?
That depends on your current process. We estimate potential value using your timings, frequency and labour assumptions rather than a generic savings claim, and we show the calculation.
Can I add more automations later?
Yes. A modular platform adds supported workflows, reports, dashboards and sites as the business grows.
What if my process is unique?
We assess bespoke workflows and quote custom development when a reusable standard module does not fit.
Why monthly?
Because the service continues after installation: updates, support, compatibility maintenance, monitoring and hosted functionality all have ongoing value and cost.
Can't I just hire someone?
Sometimes hiring is the right answer. Software is strongest where work is repetitive and rules-based. People are strongest where judgement, relationships, creativity and physical work are needed.

Free 30-Minute Automation Review
Show us a repetitive computer process. We will map the steps, calculate the annual time involved using your figures, identify what could realistically be automated and explain what should remain under human control. Strong case: you get a scoped proposal. No case: we say so.
