Data & Security

Local where it makes sense. Cloud where it adds value. Only controls that actually exist.

Your technical model should build trust without becoming the headline. Here is what runs where, what we do with your data and what happens when something fails.

Architecture

Local agent + cloud platform

Local business agent

  • Works with approved local files and folders
  • Runs scheduled tasks
  • Processes exports and imports
  • Interfaces with supported desktop systems
  • Continues suitable local workflows when internet is unavailable
  • Reports task status when connected

Cloud platform

  • Licensing and subscriptions
  • Configuration
  • Software updates
  • Customer and task management
  • Notifications and monitoring
  • Web dashboards, portals and multi-site management

Software updates

  • Installers and updates are digitally signed and verified
  • Versions maintained with staged rollouts
  • Rollback where appropriate
  • Fixes and compatibility changes without manual site visits
Security controls

Specific controls, not vague promises

No 'military-grade security'. Only controls we genuinely implement and maintain.

Encrypted communications

Data in transit between agent, cloud and portal is encrypted.

Controlled, role-based access

Individual accounts, permissions by role and secure authentication.

Audit logs

What ran, when, which input, how many records, whether it succeeded, what failed, who approved and which version.

Data minimisation

Only the information the job requires. Not the whole database because it is convenient.

Local processing where appropriate

Where a workflow only depends on local files and systems, it can stay local.

Visibility over integrations

You can see which integrations are enabled and what they touch.

Honest limits

What we will not claim

We do not promise 'works offline' for the whole product: suitable local tasks continue locally, cloud-dependent features need connectivity, and we are specific about which is which. We do not say 'your data is always safe' or 'we never access your data'. Each integration is designed around the minimum data it needs, failures are logged and alerted rather than silent, and where access is required for support we ask first.

Free 30-Minute Automation Review

Show us a repetitive computer process. We will map the steps, calculate the annual time involved using your figures, identify what could realistically be automated and explain what should remain under human control. Strong case: you get a scoped proposal. No case: we say so.
