Five Signs Your Business Depends on Manual Data Entry

1. The same information is typed into more than one system. 2. Someone cleans up the same CSV every week. 3. A report is rebuilt from scratch every Monday. 4. What to do
Pick the most annoying one. Record the process. Count the steps and the frequency. Then ask whether software should be doing some of them. If a process happens twice a year for ten minutes, leave it alone; if it happens every day, it is probably worth a look.
