Book an Automation ReviewTicking a box does not mean it should be automated. Frequency, time, how rules-based it is and business impact decide that. We will tell you honestly.
Don't write a specification. Show us the job.
Record two or three minutes of the repetitive workflow exactly as it happens. You do not need to explain the technology. We watch, count the steps, time the process and ask how often it happens. Then we explain which steps could disappear. It is usually more persuasive than any slide deck, and far better discovery information for us.
Turn 'ask Jean, she knows how' into a documented process
A surprisingly valuable question: what office process can only one person in the company do? In a small rural business the answer is often 'most of them'. If it involves a long sequence of hidden spreadsheet knowledge, file locations, naming conventions and workarounds, part of that knowledge is suitable for formalisation. Software can perform the repeatable parts consistently and record what ran, when, with which input and whether it succeeded.
